LaSalle, MI – Award winning North Cape Yacht Club (est. 1962) is celebrating its Golden Anniversary this year offering a series of events throughout 2012 beginning March 25th with an afternoon of educational boating seminars designed for boating enthusiasts. Join local experts for topic specific clinics and browse more than 15 informational booths featuring key topics including:
- Diesel Maintenance, Bert’s Diesel
- Weather Patterns, Robert Shiels Meteorologist
- Unlocking the Erie Canal, Richard & Sue Huelsberg
- Canadian Travel by Boat, Homeland Security
- “Suddenly Alone” Boating Safety
Additional topics include introductions to North Cape’s award winning Junior Sailing Program, Adult Instructional Sailing Program, Sea Scouts of America and Spring Seminar Series. Boating public welcome, the afternoon of seminars is free.
