The Armstrong RIB Ladder, winner of the 2009 DAME (Design Award METS) in the Life Saving and Safety Equipment category, makes it easy and safe to board any Hypalon, PVC, or polyurethane RIB. The RIB Ladder maintains an easy-to-climb outward angle, supports over 400 pounds (182+ kg) and mounts on the RIB surface, so there are no holes in the pontoons. Rubber stand-offs help protect the surface of the mother ship. The marine-grade stainless steel telescoping ladder folds compactly for storage. Soft mounting hardware, also sold separately, allows for multiple mounting points on a RIB.
The Armstrong Center Pole Telescopic Ladder is easy to climb — even with fins. Extra wide, flat steps with molded tread are comfortable to use. It attaches beneath swim platforms, or inserts into larger platforms. It is also available in deck mount and transom mount; and it has a 3 step and 4 step version. It is easily deployable from the water. It supports 400+ pounds (182+ kg). It is made of jewel-like 316 stainless steel and folds compactly for storage.
