CRUISENET GIVES NEW MEANING TO SURFING ON THE WATER

The luxury of Internet access does not have be left at the dock, thanks to the CruiseNet CN-1200 from Shakespeare Electronic Products Group.  This newest model delivers the power of a personal high-speed wireless connection in a newly designed, compact, low-profile package.

CruiseNet works just like broadband at home.  Users can surf the Internet, check weather reports, access email and even send photos or music with high-speed uploads and downloads.  Engineered to commercial specs, CruiseNet is more dependable than PC card-based systems.
Once installed, owners simply connect a computer for access to the high-speed cellular network.  A wireless Wi-Fi connection option gives boaters freedom to use their laptop anywhere on board, or on the dock.

Shakespeare’s CN-1200 includes a cellular modem, 110V AC power adapter, 12V DC power cord, quick connect portable flex antennas and external shipboard antenna adapters.  A one-year subscription to Shakespeare’s Full-Throttle web acceleration software is also part of the package.   The CruiseNet CN-1200 works with Sprint, Verizon and Alltel networks.  Other CruiseNet systems are available for AT&T and Telus networks.  A cellular network data subscription is required.

Shakespeare’s CruiseNet CN-1200 retails for $1,095.95.
